Fire, straight fire this place is. Everything from the salad, chicken kebab, falafel we so good. It’s in the back of a building tucked away, but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Worth the price, most entrees 15-25 & you get a lot of food. Not pictured was my salad. I ordered a vegetarian platter with a chicken kebab on the side.
Very good food and service. If you like Rumi’s Kitchen then you will definitely like this place. Very similar food but or cheaper.
My family has come to Falfel Cafe since the 1990's. The recipes have not changed. It's just good, comforting food. I only wish we were able to visit more often.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Delicious Turkish Coffee and I got a classic gyro with shirazi salad. We also tried the homemade hummus. The pitas are soft and dip very well. This food is wonderful, but some may not like it during colder days. It is very light, refreshing fare with cucumber, tomatoes, and mint highlighted in many dishes. I find it delicious anytime. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
I love hole in the wall places that are hard to find and Falafel Cafe is both of these things. I always get the Koobideh Kabob for lunch with a humus appetizer. Absolutely delicious every single time . Service is excellent. 5 star experience all the way around.
Just for reference, I have had Middle Eastern food on a few occasions but I am not very familiar with it. I ordered online and the menu had a lot of pictures which made navigating and deciding much easier. My order was done EXTREMELY quickly. I was greeted right when I walked in the door and he let me know that my food was almost done. He engaged with me again when I returned from the bathroom, handed me my food and let me know that there were utensils in the bag. As if an outstanding customer experience wasn’t enough, the food was amazing as well. It was piping hot. The dolmeh had plenty of seasoning and flavor. The falafel had a substantial crust and the inside was soft, moist and delicious. The shirazi salad and tebouleh salad were fresh and flavorful. The pita bread was soft and fresh and the hummus was tasty. To top it all off the sweet tea was thoroughly enjoyable. It had some light, pleasant floral notes that seemed vaguely familiar but that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. What a great restaurant experience! The vast majority of restaurant experiences these days are extremely disappointing but my visit here today was the gold standard. The customer experience and food were just outstanding. It’s heartwarming to encounter people who are doing what they are passionate about and knocking it out of the park.
My family has been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years now and it’s one of our favorites. Some of the best authentic Persian food you’ll ever have.
We enjoyed the falafel platter, Turkish coffee and Iranian tea. Everything was delicious! The hummus was the best I’ve ever had. The owner and employees were very welcoming. I can’t wait to come back for dinner. Thank you, Reza!
